Case studies incoming (how many times have you seen that?) I’ve been working with a wide variety of clients over the last few years; SAAS products including huge library transformations & modern art portfolios, e-commerce platforms, start-up prototyping and UX exploring.

During my time at Farfetch I mentored junior designers and helped to steer creative career paths. Also I collaborated with senior managers & developers from other departments to create a responsive Sustainability Tool, worked on the user experience journeys for Farfetch Beat & helped further develop the Curate app.

My END. career spanned almost 5 years, in which I grew the design team from 1 (just me!) to 5 designers.

Dropping me in at the deep end back in 2015, my initial task was to design the mobile website which naturally progressed into a completely responsive web experience. We used singular CMS blocks which could be placed across the site for the ultimate flexibility. Along with this we created internal user guides for the content teams to refer to. Since then, everything has had several refreshes; checkout, email design, blog, wish list, login & navigation.

In 2019 we started to concept a fresh look for the online experience, I’m excited to see that come to life in the next year or so while the current team are moving forward with it.

Launches was another massive part of my work at END.. This microsite was created to combat bots in the luxury sneaker world. It worked so well that there have been several (massive) companies inspired to use the same idea. There were also a couple of opportunities here to help steer the art direction of bespoke web experiences. The Off-White x Converse page received some great praise from the teams there.

Our iOS app was App of the Day on the App Store, it currently has 4.9* with 25k reviews. The customers love the ease of the journey, simple, chic interface and clean imagery.

Lead Digital Designer

The team at Burton loved collaboration & we all had a lot of fun working together. We worked really closely with marketing & print, having daily catch ups, creative meetings to concept new features and catchups to make sure the artwork was consistent in store and lead by the digital team.

Reporting in to the Design Manager, we were only a team of 3 but managed to create responsive web templates that were used across all Arcadia brand websites, great new features and seasonal interactive sites.

I also art directed a couple still life shoots for the website & store imagery.

Burton

The start of life in London, I loved getting to grips with the design world under the umbrella of a high-street giant, Arcadia.

Initially I was artworking the homepage, emails, hero banners and feature concepts. Also meeting regularly with project managers and developers to make sure that everything was pixel perfect.
